REVIEWS
Joe was great! Being I was the only student for him that day, it was a great 1:1 experience. Joe was very knowledgeable and talented in the field of comic art and provided great insight into the business.

Title or Location: The Roof Battle from Assassin Creeds Odyssey.
I tried to convey the atmosphere of ancient times through the battle. A Fight, courage, the will to win, the beauty of armor, all this was absorbed in my painting. I got inspiration from an Ancient Greek Art History class that I took at the University of Nebraska, Omaha, last year, and the game Assassin?s Creed Odyssey. I captured a moment from the gameplay and painted it.

I started painting three months ago as a way to deal with the loss of my son. I?ve always wanted to paint, which started when I was a young girl watching Bob Ross. This painting is the result of one of the ?happy accidents? Bob liked to reference. I had reached the end of the painting and hated how the legs turned out. I couldn?t fix them no matter what I did. So I grabbed the scissors and decided to see what I could do. I cut out the figure, glued him on foam board, then glued the foam board o

Inspired by my own recent diagnosis, this piece represents the progression of degenerative diseases. Moving from left to right (young to old) each tree weakens, leaving the last one broken in two. This is a picture of an original watercolor painting on 300 lb. cold press paper.

Title or Location: Florida's Sandhill Crane
In nature, I wait patiently for just the right moment, one that is different but unique to my subject. It?s those unusual positions during grooming, mating ritual, breeding display, or just being silly. I strive to capture the moment that others miss, don?t see or notice. I?ll then use my photography as reference to create, produce and share an art piece that allows others a glimpse into that secret world of lines, colors and details that I see. This Sandhill Crane fit that bill perfectly. Perhaps my favorite part about moving to Florida is the quiet time spent between me and my brushes studying the beauty of Florida. It &65532appeals to me like no other Subject. I find myself engaged with &65532 the quiet time of days, gone by. When the sun quietly sits leaving an array of color across the sky. The sounds of the swamp stir up a solace within my soul?a happy place. I hope my Florida Painting gives you a sense of peace and joy.24x36 oils ? Hidden Serenity?

Title or Location: Winter snow
As we had the arrival of snow this week I thought it would be perfect to create a nice winter scene, this one came out of my mind rather than a reference photo, so it?s of no particular place other than some music, a paintbrush and a blank canvas. I actually only learnt to paint during lockdown so it?s always really cool when I see the finished product and it looks pretty good.

Title or Location: Holiness
?Holiness? .The painting is made with acrylic paints on wood. &127912 It was created through a moment of inspiration without the use of a sketch. I just decided to trust the holy spirit. Many edges and highlights on the sides convey the state of this world in the midst of which the Light of the world appeared! A pure, immaculate creature with a divine destiny to save this world from sin. &128591&127995
