I at first thought well it?s kinda weird it?s at someone house, we got there and it was just my mom and I. Joe was awesome! Super friendly, kind, he has a nice spot right by the front door at a big table that you can sit down and do the art. Also has bathrooms readily available! Had really good conversations, laughs, learning! I really enjoyed his company & the art side of it!

This serene painting of Fall colors in southern Indiana is from a photo taken while I was working at Tipsaw Lake campground, Tipsaw lake is a popular fishing lake surrounded by rolling hills densely covered with forest. The still surface of the lake reflects the colorful array of Fall colors as a small boat waits for the return of it's fishermen.

Title or Location: Handsome Chuck
This drawing is about a mother and a photo she has with her everyday, a photo of her son who lost his battle with cancer. When asked what her son would do that would make her smile she told the story of how he would get ready to go out in the evening and referred to himself as Handsome Chuck. If you look at this drawing and say Handsome Chuck to yourself and smile, then he lives on thru all of us and I did my job. 18 x 24 graphite pencil titled Handsome Chuck

Title or Location: "Behold I Am Become Death"
This artwork by Jo Moore is a representation of a Grim Reaper type character with a deer's skull. The final image in a short series of storyline cells, this character is a fusion of two within the story: a human and a deer. They confront each other in a meadow, too close to escape. Instead they both confront their mortalities in unison, ripping space and the illusion of separation at its seams. They become one in Death, and appear to the viewer as this Grim Reaper, scythe conjuring to it's sid

My art "Authenticity"This piece represents my journey of transformation ? a journey of becoming the truest and most authentic version of myself. It is about releasing limiting beliefs, breaking free from old patterns, and leaving behind the masks I once wore to fit expectations and seek acceptance. The act of removing the mask symbolizes letting go of the false identities that no longer serve me and embracing who I truly am.At its heart, this artwork carries a powerful message: be aut

Title or Location: My Favourite Toy
This is Marley, one of my loopy border collies. I managed to take the reference photo for this drawing in one of his quiet moments, while he was hugging his favourite toy and stopping his brother Bob from stealing it! It was a challenge drawing him on pastelmat as I'm not too experienced with it but quiete happy with how he came out! He's drawn in a mix of faber castel polychromos, caran d'ache luminance and some derwent drawing pencils.

Title or Location: Balnagask golf course
I loved this photograph from John Strachan photography and finally got around to painting it in acrylic. I tried to be quite loose with the painting as there was so much detail. in the end I thought the sky looked a bit bare so with the help of Chat GPT I added seagulls to the photo and was then able to paint them into my art work. This painting will be heading for the Aberdeen art show the end of August for sale.
